Cancun's culinary scene is a delightful journey for the senses, offering a tantalizing array of flavors and dishes. Whether it is street food, fine dining by the beach or in the heart of the city, every meal in Cancun is a celebration of the region's rich culinary heritage.

Unforeseen Circumstances:(

My trip to Cancun took an unexpected turn with a nose injury that served as a reminder to be cautious while adventuring. Smashing my nose on the concrete of a pool was a sobering experience amidst the excitement. Despite the initial discomfort and concern, the warm hospitality and care of the local plastic surgeon and nurses helped ease the situation. In fact, none of the taxis drivers, medical professionals, or pharmacists knew English. This, mixed with it being very late at night and early in the morning added to my stress, but despite the pain, I made sure to recall all the Spanish I knew and navigate in times of chaos. I wonder how other countries would have dealt this with situation and how I as a patient would feel. Overall, my experience allowed me to quickly get back on my feet and continue enjoying all that Cancun has to offer.
