NASA Visit in March 2016

Hi everyone! Prerana here, and I want to tell you about my visit to NASA in March 2016. It was an out-of-this-world experience!

Learning About Space

At NASA, I learned so much about space and astronauts. We got to see real rockets and even a space shuttle. There were so many cool exhibits showing how astronauts live and work in space. I got to try on a space suit and pretend I was an astronaut. It was so cool!



Meeting an Astronaut

The best part of the trip was meeting a real astronaut. He told us all about his adventures in space and answered all our questions. It was so inspiring to hear his stories. I felt like I could be an astronaut too someday!

I of course love the East Coast, but living in North Carolina can get pretty boring. Now this is why a trip to the complete opposite of the country excited me: drier temperatures, mimics of famous locations (Eiffel Tower, New York, etc), canyons, and much more.
